Getting Greyed

Wrinkles starting to show

I am getting old 

& Skins are getting dull


I am gonna leave this world 

One day ill be not here at all

I am gonna leave this world

One day youll see me not at all


Getting aged

Ankles knees hurt

I am getting old

Sometimes I feel stiff


I am gonna leave this world 

One day ill not be missing you at all

I am gonna leave this world

One day youll see miss me but cant get at all


Getting fazed

Cant recall some things

I am getting old

Memories becoming fade


I am gonna leave this world 

One day ill not be recalled by y'all 

I am gonna leave this world

One day hope you'll see me, in paradise hall

  অপেক্ষার শেষ প্রহর - অর্ক আশফাক  তুমি কি জানো, কতটা নির্জন লাগে, যখন দিন ফুরোয়—তবু তুমি আসো না পাশে? তোমার ছোঁয়ার আকুলতা ঘুমকে ছুঁতে চায়, তোমার স্পর্শ না পাই, তবু তুমি আছো প্রতিটি নিঃশ্বাসে! জ্বর কি আসে না তোমার, নিঃশব্দ আলিঙ্গনে? তোমার চোখ কি ভিজে উঠে না, বৃষ্টির একাকিত্বে? রাত্রির নির্জনতায় ভাঙে না কি, ঘুম হঠাৎ? মন বলে “তার পাশে থাকি", সব আবার হয়ে যায় চুপচাপ। আমি তো হৃদয়ের অলিতে গলিতে গোপন প্রেম বুনেছি, তোমার চুলে, ঘ্রাণে, দেহছায়ায় অজস্র কবিতা লিখেছি। কিন্তু তুমি ডাকো না... অভিমানের দেওয়াল চওড়া, ভালোবাসার ভাষা বুঝেও, থাকো নীরবতার চাদরে মোড়া। ভালোবাসা কি এভাবেই দূরত্বে নিজেকে হারায়? প্রেম কি শুধুই রয়ে যায় লেখায় কিংবা মুখে বলায়? নাকি তা শরীরের কামনাও জ্বালায়? আমি তো প্রতিদিনই রয়েছি তোমার অপেক্ষায়... দুঃসহ যাতনায় ছিঁড়তে থাকি দুঃসময়ের পাতা, আশায় রই তুমি পাশে এসে নিঃশব্দে ছোঁবে; পুরোনো ভালোবাসা যদি আবারও জাগে, ভগ্ন মনে - নতুনত্বে নগ্নতায় প্রতি রাতে! বুকে জড়িয়ে ধরে, কানে মুখে বলতে চাই—  অসম্ভব নয়, মিলন সন্নিকটে মোদের! মনে হয় বৃষ্টি আসবে আর একটু পর...

  সময়ের ঠেশে বেঁচে থাকা - অর্ক আশফাক সময় দিতেছে ঠেশ— বার্ধক্যের পাতায় পাতায় এপেশ-ওপেশ। বয়স ধীরে ধীরে টানিতেছে শেষ, নীরব বাতাসে উড়ে যায় কেশ— তবু, তোমার ভালোবাসার রেশ উড়ায়ে নিবে ক্লেশের অবশেষ। এই তো জীবন, এই তো যৌবন, চোখের পলকে ফুরায় অনুক্ষণ। জন্মদিন নামে এক উৎসব অভিনয়- সবই সময়ের প্রতি এক অনুনয় বিনয়! হাতে ধরা কিছু সুখের ছায়াটুকু, মুখে লেগে থাকে নীরবতার মায়া শুধু। চোখের কোণে জল জমে জেনেও— বলে না যে কেউ,  হারিয়েছে কত কালে, ক’জন, কেমনে, মনে রাখেনা যে কেউ! তবু হৃদয়ে এতটুকু আলো বাঁচে, শেষবেলার প্রেম একটু-আধটু ভাসে! চাঁদের আলোয় লেখা ঐ রাতের গান— যা বোঝায় - শেষ মানেই নয় 'অবসান'! শেষ মানেই তো নয় - অবমাননা, শেষ মানে হতে পারে এক নতুন প্রার্থনা। যাহা ফুরায়, তাই আবার স্মৃতির রেশে জ্বলে— জোছনা হারায় নদীর কূলে; সময় হারায় কালের গর্ভে... যাহা হারায়, তাই তো আবার নতুন করে গড়ে! নতুন রূপে, কিংবা নতুন রঙে!

  The Slow Ascend of Winter - Arko Ashfaque  Youth lies behind—a vanished shore, Its music faint on memory's breeze; I do not chase those waves no more, But watch them break with quiet ease. The limbs that once outran the sun Now yield to time’s more cautious gait; Yet what I lose in speed or run, I gain in knowing how to wait. The mirror bears a kindly thief, Stealing color, adding line; But in each fold, I find belief— That even loss can still refine. The face I wore when dreams were young Still lingers in remembered flame; A song once wild and sweetly sung— Now whispered by a gentler name. The fire of youth was fierce and fast, It lit the sky, consumed the air; But fires meant not always to last Are kindled now with deeper care. I've seen the arc of passion’s flight, The folly of the urgent voice; And now I find my great delight In moments quiet by their choice.
